I'm Mercedes George, founder, and owner of Garnished by George. It has been a dream of mine for many years to start my own business, but I hadn't quite found my niche. I decided to go to graduate school and continue my career in law enforcement, temporarily putting my business dream on hold. After I had my daughter, I decided to take a break from my career to stay home and raise her. I realized that this was my opportunity to find my niche and do something I really enjoyed. While mindlessly scrolling through Pinterest, I stumbled across a beautiful charcuterie board and I recalled a friend of mine making a comment that cheeseboards were my thing. Yes, cheeseboards are my thing! That is how Garnished By George came to fruition. At Garnished By George, we take pride in curating beautiful, savory charcuterie boards using only the highest quality meats, cheeses, and fruits.
